Masterpiece Sweepstakes Follow Up

capture

The Masterpiece 2017 Sweepstakes concluded earlier this month and we had over 1.1MM entries with 143,000 unique prospects being generated for stations.

CDP hosted a webinar earlier this week to talk about delivery of the prospects and how they can be cultivated and converted to donors in the coming months. If you missed the webinar, please click here to access the recording (it is posted at the top of the list)

Keep an eye on your email in the next week for information from CDP on where you can access your station’s prospects. Additionally, CDP will also be providing assets to you to help develop and execute emails to these prospects.

Or, if you’d like, CDP can execute emails behind your station brand to these prospects to free up your resources to focus on other initiatives. Visit our Digital Prospecting page for more details.

CDP is happy to share that the 2017 Masterpiece Sweepstakes will begin on December 15, 2016 and run through March 15, 2017.

This year’s contest will feature the upcoming premiere of Victoria as well as the return of Sherlock, two programs that are sure to resonate with our current and prospective audiences who will have the ability to enter daily for a chance to win a VIP grand prize trip to the United Kingdom in collaboration with VisitBritain.

In addition to the grand prize, there will be monthly prizes courtesy of ShopPBS.org and the opportunity to win a Sherlock script signed by cast members. We expect the addition of Sherlock and this special prize to be a big draw for younger prospects.

As with previous contests, marketing assets will be distributed to help your station promote this program locally and include: station specific entry-URLs, web banners, social media copy, TV spots, flyers and a buckslip.

Stay tuned to your email regarding delivery of the promotional assets in the coming weeks and mark your calendar for a quick webinar that CDP will be hosting to review the details:

Only 3 Weeks Left…

mast-2016-sweeps-934x305_no_tagsJust a quick reminder that there are only 3 weeks left in the 2016 Downton Abbey Sweepstakes.

Here is an approved Tweet that can be used this week to encourage additional entries:

“3 wks until 2016 Downton Abbey Sweepstakes ends! Will you win a prop fm Mrs Patmore’s kitchen? Details, Rules @ pbs.org/sweepstakes”

Remember the more entries received, the more prospects that will be delivered to your station for cultivation and conversion.

For any questions, about the Sweepstakes, please contact CDP.

How Much is Your $100 Worth?

Picture1Click Here to check out the results of a new study released this summer from the Tax Foundation that shows the relative value of $100 by state and some metro-statistical areas.

If your members live in Mississippi, Arkansas, Missouri, Alabama, and South Dakota, their $100 is worth the most, where as if you are in DC, Hawaii. New York, New Jersey or California, you are not getting the most bang for your buck.

While the Tax Foundation is focused on the tax implications, it can be used helpful in fundraising when looking at Average Donation amounts at your station compared to National Averages and even help when developing appropriate ask matrices.

If your station has done any sort of adjustments or analysis based on information such as this or Cost Of Living Indices, please let us know.
